Whether buying your dream home, borrowing for home improvements or buying an investment property it is fair to say that since 2008, it is much harder to obtain a mortgage.
We can help by giving you the benefit of our experience and matching your needs to a mortgage deal. We can help you to research the market and explain all the features and complexities that are part of mortgage jargon.
And when you've decided on the right mortgage if you like, we'll help you to set it up and let you know what else you will need to consider.
We offer a fee only service for our advice as many of the mortgages currently available can only be applied for direct to the mortgage provider. That means that you get the benefit of advice and the best deals in the marketplace.
Deposit and Affordabiliity
Please be aware that 100% and Self Certification mortgages are no longer obtainable. You will need a deposit of at least 10% of the value of the property being mortgaged and you will need to be able to prove your income levels. Any existing personal borrowing that you may have, will be taken in to account when we discuss how much you can afford to borrow on a mortgage.
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage. The Financial Services Authority does not regulate some types of mortgage.
